Car accident

Well, it took what less than a full week before I got into a car accident. Driving around LA can get tricky sometimes. I just dripped off my last passenger in Santa Monica and was heading to my next one. Less than a block away I was on abbot ave stopped at a stop sign. Looking to make the right when someone rammed me from behind. The good thing is I'm covered on three different levels. 1. Her insurance company. 2. Since I was on the clock Lift has a general insurance company York I think they said. 3. I was driving a Lyft rental and that is covered by Hertz insurance. I reported the incident to Lyft who instantly asked me for photos of the accident. Had I not sent them my app would have been turned off. Minutes after sending the photos I was able to start driving again. I'm only 25 rides away from the full bonus. Big day Saturday, big day Sunday! My first real shift

Image
I was thinking it's just not possible to make decent money driving with Lyft. My first day this week, Monday, I thought I spent the whole day working. Really I didn't start until 11 then at 2 I went to the gym for 2 hours. Then I took other breaks later. To make good money here you really have to be committed for long periods of time.  So on Monday I thought I worked the whole day but really I only worked 5 1/2 hours and made 77 dollars.  On Tuesday I worked a bit longer this time for 7 hours and I made 130 dollars.  Wednesday yesterday I worked for 9 1/2 hours and made 160 dollars. I'm still far far below my pace but I think I can build to longer and longer working periods of time.  If you are interested in driving for Lyft and want a nice $850 bonus please use my referral code:  TP18  or this link: https://www.lyft.com/drivers/THOMAS562390   any other questions or concerns about the process or payouts etc. Call or text me...

Eviction, Repo, or Default?

This is what I am currently faced with. I know already I don't have enough money in my account to cover my rent and my car payment and my student loans. So one of these bad events will probably happen to me. :( I'm working out a deal with my apt to save the eviction. I think I can park my car a few blocks away to avoid the repossession. And I keep moving out payments on my student loans but that doesn't really move the default it just delays it. I only made 77 dollars yesterday (monday) and got in 13 trips. So down from the pace I wanted of 200/day and min 20 trips. Tuesday should be better for this. My first Lyft trip

I've been driving Uber for over a year. It's a nice side job I wouldn't say I make very much money with Uber. Only a few 100 per week. A few of my passengers keep mentioning that Lyft drivers make more money. Over and over I kept hearing this. No one to miss money making opportunities and being in dire financial need myself I signed up for Lyft. What an easy process! I went to a Lyft hub they checked out my car and I was good to go. There was a Lyft representative there who answered questions and showed us a brief video on the process of picking someone up and dropping them off.
